SKIN-Q

Summary

The SKIN-Q is a patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) that provides an innovative means to precisely measure patient satisfaction with skin in the context of minimally invasive aesthetic treatments of the face and body.

This reliable and valid instrument was developed by Drs. Anne Klassen, Andrea Pusic & Stefan Cano. The psychometric evaluations provided evidence of reliability and validity for two item sets that measure satisfaction with how skin feels (20 items) and looks (46 items). Five short-form scales measuring skin quality, skin rejuvenation and facial movement were created to illustrate how the items can be utilized. Each short-form scale evidenced high reliability and validity.
