Society & Impact Luncheon: The Power of Partnership in Advancing Societal Impact (VEGA Project)

It was wonderful to have Dr. Melissa Kimber join us in March to present her research as part of the Society & Impact Luncheon series.
Dr. Kimber is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences and lead for the Violence, Evidence, Guidance, Action (VEGA) Project.
Sharing lessons and outcomes from the project, Dr. Kimber highlighted how interdisciplinary partnerships have been instrumental in the provincial, national, and international visibility and uptake of VEGA’s Family Violence Education Resources, which help healthcare practitioners recognize and respond to family violence.
Thank you, Dr. Kimber, for sharing your inspiring and impactful work with us. And thanks to everyone who joined us to ask questions, share insights and connect with fellow members of McMaster’s research community.
