Medical Imagining Informatics Research Centre at McMaster (MIIRC@M)




MIIRCAM’s vision is to foster seamless integration of medical images in the daily world of healthcare professionals with appropriate delivery of relevant content and decision support, and to educate the new world of imaging and Electronic Health Records (EHR) professionals. It’s goal is to establish McMaster, Ontario and Canada as leaders in image enabling the EHR and driving utility from regional and national imaging infrastructure. MIIRCAM, a joint initiative of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering, leverages engineering, clinical and business expertise to identify and bring together the skills required to solve a specific problem.
