McMaster’s top innovators were celebrated at the 2022 Innovation Showcase on November 10. Held at McMaster Innovation Park, the event featured thought-provoking panel discussions and presentations from McMaster researchers and startup companies about their ground-breaking discoveries and how they are addressing a market need. The event closed with an awards ceremony to recognize the winners of the McMaster Innovator of the Year award, the Lifetime Innovator award, and the poster competition.

Three McMaster startups – AIMA Laboratories, LLIF Healthcare and 20/20 OptimEyes Technologies – have received a combined $1.27 million in the second round of McMaster Seed Fund investments.

The Basadur Profile is a proven assessment tool developed by Dr. Min Basadur, professor emeritus of organizational behavior and innovation at DeGroote School of Business. The Profile has been validated by research that provides insight into how people and teams prefer to think during the innovation process.
