Government of Canada releases policy statement on Research Security and COVID-19

The Government of Canada has launched a portal to provide information and guidance on how to protect your research.

The Federal government has released a policy statement on research security and COVID-19.

Co-signed by the Ministers of Health (The Honourable Patty Hajdu); Innovation, Science and Industry (The Honourable Navdeep Bains); and Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness (The Honourable Bill Blair), the policy is intended to help Canada’s research community safeguard critical pandemic-related research and innovation, and to protect national security, the integrity of Canada’s research ecosystem, and to support long-term economic competitiveness and prosperity.
