Connection Grants support short-term, targeted knowledge mobilization through events and outreach activities aligned with the objectives of the Research Partnerships program. Events are typically brief (e.g., a 2-day conference or 1-week workshop), while outreach activities aim to engage the broader public through diverse methods such as dissemination, translation, networking, and co-creation beyond what a typical event would achieve.
Additional Program Information:
- All activities must take place within 12 months of the start date indicated on the Notice of Award (see decision dates in the funding cycle schedule).
- Proposed activities must deliver timely, tangible outputs—such as conference proceedings or other knowledge products in traditional or digital formats—and may serve as one-time events or catalysts for long-term research partnerships
