This opportunity seeks to fund research that investigates and informs federal policy on the transmission and non-pharmaceutical prevention of respiratory infectious diseases, such as:
- Influenza
- COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2)
- Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)
- Other emerging and re-emerging respiratory pathogens
Specific areas of interest include:
- Modes of transmission and factors that influence respiratory particle transmission
- Ventilation and air quality-related interventions for preventing respiratory infectious disease transmission
- Interventions that can promote the use of public health measures
