This award provides a means for the University to encourage creative thinking about ways in which researchers can enhance the undergraduate learning environment while encouraging undergraduate students’ involvement in educational research. The award consists of:

• Campus-wide recognition for innovative research achievement by an early career faculty member
• $25,000 support towards a project to actively involve undergraduate students in research
