Description:

This initiative aims to support early career researchers (ECRs) and facilitate their involvement in Alliance Advantage grants, fostering collaboration with partner organizations. The pilot program intends to distribute vouchers to a maximum of 200 eligible researchers.

Who is an ECR? Applicants who have held their first independent academic position within the last five years.

Voucher amount: $10,000 CAD

How does it work? Typically, NSERC Advantage Grants require cash contributions from partner organizations. NSERC matches these contributions 2:1. This voucher can replace some or all of the required cash contributions from partner organizations in your project.

This means NSERC will match the $10,000 voucher with $20,000, totaling $30,000 towards your project.
