We are excited to announce that the new McMaster Collaborative for Health and Aging Trainee Engagement Fund is now available for application!

Funding will provide support to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows across the university to meaningfully and ethically engage older adults and/or caregivers in their aging-focused health research.


McMaster University graduate students and postdoctoral fellows engaged in research with a focus on aging.

Previous experience in patient-oriented research is not required. The Collaborative can provide:

  • Guidance in determining if this funding opportunity is the right fit
  • Support in formulating your engagement plan
  • Training and mentorship in the area of patient-oriented research
