The India-Canada Centre for Innovative Multidisciplinary Partnerships to Accelerate Community Transformation and Sustainability — IC-IMPACTS Research Centre of Excellence – has announced two new funding opportunities available for faculty and students.
Call for Proposals on Building Resilient and Carbon-Neutral Communities Post Covid:
In this Joint Call for Proposals, DST and DBT from India and IC-IMPACTS from Canada are seeking joint applications aimed at addressing the issues faced by remote and rural communities in the post COVID world. We seek proposals in the following four areas under this Joint Call:
- Agritech and Food Security (DBT and IC-IMPACTS)
- Carbon Reduction in Our Built Environment (DST and IC-IMPACTS)
- Water (DST and IC-IMPACTS)
- Health, Post COVID Health Issues and Long COVID (DBT and IC-IMPACTS)
Pradeep Khare Memorial Scholarship for Indian Students:
The Pradeep Khare Memorial Scholarship, established by his family in 2016 in memory of Pradeep who served as a Board member of IC-IMPACTS, is awarded to students who demonstrate leadership, drive, self-reflection, academic excellence, and a desire to use their privileged education to give back to their community, and who have financial needs.
