Description:

The CBRF-BRIF Notice of Intent form is now available on the Convergence portal.  Please note the updated internal timeline below for the NOI phase of the competition. NOIs must be initiated by the institution on the portal.  Once created, the Director/Co-director will be given access privileges in order to complete the form.

Please be advised that that the Hubs have indicated that they will likely only endorse applications for which an EOI was submitted to the hub prior to submission of the NOI. We therefore ask that each applicant send to ROADS the hub-endorsed EOI prior to the NOI deadline.

This opportunity supports growing a strong, competitive biomanufacturing and life sciences sector, and to ensure Canada is prepared for future pandemics by increasing domestic capacity through investments and partnerships to produce life-saving vaccines and therapeutics. The CBRF and BRIF are based on an ecosystem approach, designed to build on existing assets and infrastructure, and to forge partnerships across multiple sectors, including industry and government research facilities. Stage 2 of this competition is available for partnered proposals for high risk and applied research, talent development and research infrastructure funding.
