Parenting on the Border: Marrying art and science to reduce violence against children affected by displacement

Dr. Sukhvinder Obhi, Associate Vice-President, Research (Society & Impact), invites you to learn more about the work of Dr. Amanda Sim, whose research focuses on assessing and improving the mental health and well-being of children and families experiencing war and forced displacement.
Dr. Sim will share how she has used community-engaged research and innovative media interventions to prevent family violence and promote positive parenting and mental health among refugee and marginalized populations globally.
