Join us at the Ron Joyce Centre on October 16, 2025 for Nuclear Renaissance 2.0.
We’re bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, Indigenous representatives, and other stakeholders to explore the role of nuclear energy in achieving net-zero targets and decarbonizing critical industries.
Hosted at McMaster University, Nuclear Renaissance 2.0 will examine the energy transition from a business and finance perspective, addressing investment risks, supply chain challenges, regulatory hurdles, fuel security, and opportunities for market expansion. Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) will be a major focus, in addition to broader nuclear energy advancements, including CANDU technology and other emerging innovations. Discussions will span public policy, Indigenous engagement, workforce training, and finance to support a decarbonized energy future.
By integrating diverse perspectives and expertise, Nuclear Renaissance 2.0 aims to foster collaboration and actionable strategies to secure nuclear energy’s role in a sustainable, low-carbon economy.
