No immediate change to research activity status as Stay-at-Home order ends.
The end of Ontario’s Stay-at-Home order – effective June 2nd – does not affect our current status of research activity for Phase 1, under which we’ve been operating since the end of March.
As per the government’s direction, all other workplace measures will remain in place provincewide until Ontario enters Step One of the Roadmap to Reopen – expected the week of June 14th – at which point some restrictions will ease with an initial focus on outdoor settings.
We are currently seeking further guidance and will provide an update next week on the changes to our research activity status as we move to Step One.
For those of you working in your labs, please be sure to follow all health and safety protocols. If your research takes place at a hospital site or McMaster Innovation Park, you must also adhere to site-specific protocols.
Stay safe,
Karen Mossman
