Description:

This award supports research that uses AI to enhance statistical methodology or theory. The goal of the program is to support a nascent research program or proof of concept, that could go onto more substantive grants. CANSSI Ontario will fund up to four projects.

Eligibility:

Faculty members at CANSSI Ontario partner universities who hold appointments in a statistics or biostatistics unit (department, division, or school), or if they are a statistician or biostatistician appointed to a different unit with a PhD in statistics or biostatistics.
