This opportunity supports advancement in lung cancer research programs that are anywhere in the continuum from basic, high impact discovery to translational work of direct relevance to the clinic and beyond. The goal of the program is to provide a mechanism for scientists to study innovations and accelerate the application of new knowledge relating to the early detection of lung cancer and the etiology of lung cancer in different demographics and populations.
